This striking bench-made piece features four posts decorated with crisp, deep rice and tobacco leaf carvings. The upper portion of each post boasts elegant vertical reeding and is capped with finely detailed urn finials.

The headboard exhibits a beautiful camelback silhouette showcasing a highly figured, rich cherry wood grain with a warm undertone. Solid cherry side rails bolt to the headboard and footboard and are covered with traditional decorative brass bolt covers at the feet. Combining classic 18th-century American styling with structural stability, this high-end reproduction would serve as an elegant centerpiece for any traditional or transitional master suite.

Condition:
Very good vintage condition. Sets up solid and stable. The original cherry finish is good, showing only negligible surface wear with some light scuffs and typical minor marks on the side rails consistent with light use (see photos).
