The top displays attractive burr walnut figuring with inlaid borders, above a lower section fitted with divisions for magazines, sheet music or documents. The base is fitted with a single frieze drawer, decorated with inlaid detail and turned handles. Raised on turned legs with castors, this is a useful and decorative antique piece, ideal for use as a magazine rack, music stand or occasional display piece. Circa 1870.
