With its characteristic curves, large beveled mirror, and sculpted legs, it embodies the organic elegance of the 1900 style: understated, sensual, and timeless.

materials: solid mahogany frame, sapele wood veneers with a shimmering grain and golden highlights. Original large beveled mirror. Brass hardware: original door handle and drawer pull.

features: the bonnetière opens with a single door featuring a full-height beveled mirror, revealing a spacious interior with four shelves (adjustable in height thanks to a rack and pinion system). The door locks. The slightly curved pediment, the rounded corners of the uprights, and the carefully carved hoof feet demonstrate the mastery of art nouveau cabinetmakers. A drawer with its original brass handle discreetly completes the piece at the base of the front. The sapele wood grain, with its shimmering reflections that shift with the light, lends the piece a rare depth.

restoration: this antique armoire has been gently sanded, then washed and protected with a colorless wax.
