This compact table lamp illustrates the gradual emergence of modernist design in French interiors during the interwar years. Its stepped shade with concentric profiles is paired with a finely turned chrome-plated metal base, combining the restrained elegance of late Art Deco with the first influences of the Streamline aesthetic.
