with its large hemispherical reflector, geometric volumes, and subtle interplay between copper and chrome, this small lamp evokes the most refined explorations of late Art Deco and the Streamline Moderne movement.

The composition is particularly successful: a circular chromed metal base supports a central column flanked by four copper elements ending in spheres, while a hemispherical reflector appears to float above the light source. The overall effect is almost architectural, somewhere between a scientific instrument, a ship's light fixture, and a desk sculpture.

Although unattributed, this piece is reminiscent of certain French designs from the 1930s and 1940s, as well as the work of designers such as Jean Boris Lacroix, Gilbert Poillerat, and some pieces by the Petitot company, where metal becomes a true compositional material.

Despite its modest size, this lamp has a strong visual presence. Its silhouette is reminiscent of an architectural model or a modernist laboratory instrument, giving it a particularly unique character.

The metal elements have a beautiful original patina, with slight signs of age that contribute to its authenticity. The wiring is functional; the cable and plug have been replaced over time.

A rare piece due to its design, ideal for a desk, console table, or bookcase, where it will add a modernist and sculptural touch.
