Mid-century modern sputnik wall lamp, germany, 1960s. This unusual vintage wall light features a curved brass arm with a white cylindrical socket holder, mounted in front of a sculptural yellow metal backplate. The backplate has a softly folded upper edge, giving the lamp a playful atomic-age character and a strong decorative presence even when unlit. Its compact form makes it well suited as a bedside lamp, hallway accent or small reading light, while the contrast of yellow metal, brass and white details gives the piece a distinctive 1960s look. The surfaces show visible age-related wear, including patina, small marks, scratches and darkened areas on the brass and painted metal, consistent with its vintage character. The light requires one e14 light bulb. Works with us and european electrics 110/120/220v. Very good vintage condition.
