A rare porcelain dish signed by Douze, Lemaitre Frères, and L. Blancher, a manufacturer specializing in tableware. Presented at the 1925 Exposition of Modern Decorative Arts, the decorations were entirely hand-painted. The company participated in the 1930 Aeronautics and Art Exhibition, as well as the 1931 International Colonial Exhibition and the 1937 Exposition of Arts and Techniques, and produced tableware for Primavera, the art workshop of the Printemps department store. This piece has an attribution mark,
