Direct-light table lamp composed of two molded resin bodies. The lower body rotates on the underlying steel base and is connected to the upper body via a central joint that allows for 360° rotation. The internal reflector is made of white painted aluminum.
Designed in 1968 by Elio Martinelli, the Cobra was one of the first resin lighting fixtures produced using a special molding process. The lamp is characterized by a simple line and a geometric shape within a sphere, but when the arm rotates, the reflector assumes a position reminiscent of a cobra's head poised to pounce.
