This charming german desk lamp has a real presence, with its wide mushroom shade sitting atop a copper stem. The lamp - in its original blue scumble paint effect - is very similar in style to a schröder lamp, although there are no maker’s marks. Made from aluminium and copper, which is a great colour combination; and although showing honest signs of wear, it still has bags of charm and has been gently cleaned to retain its unusual patina. The lamp has been professionally rewired with black twisted flex and a new black plug.
40cm h x 33cm w this piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
issues arising from misattribution,
