A poetic ceramic planter from the 1960s, designed by the Dutch ceramic artist Pieter Groeneveldt (1889-1982).
This striking collector's item is from the iconic Birch Bark series. The exterior features a rough, unglazed chamotte clay with a highly textured, brutalist bark-like appearance. This is deliberately contrasted by the smooth, waterproof glaze in a light mint green.
The artist's studio stamp is located on the base. This piece has an attribution mark,
