It has a laminated … Read more Antique wood airplane propeller, from late 1943 , early 1944 and the World War II era. It has a laminated timber construction and metal-sheathed leading edge. Identifying markings on the propeller are those of the manufacturer Sensenich. According to the identification 74FE, it was originally build for deployment on WWII light civil trainers. The "polka dots" of the leading edge are actually flush metal rivets or screws that have been ground down smooth to maintain the aerodynamic profile. This propeller can be a striking sculpturing model and is nostalgic with historical importance in aviation history. See less
