Elegant 19th-century French Louis XVI style pedestal column crafted from richly colored Rouge Griotte marble with finely detailed gilt bronze ormolu mounts. The pedestal features a cylindrical red marble column rising from a square plinth base, topped with a square marble display platform.
The gilt bronze Corinthian-style capital, beaded collar, and circular foot mounts add classical refinement and contrast beautifully against the deep red marble. The piece has strong neoclassical presence and is ideal for displaying a bronze, bust, vase, urn, sculpture, or decorative object.
