A striking vintage cast iron eagle wall plaque modeled after the historic emblem of the Insurance Company of North America (INA), America's first stock insurance company, chartered in Philadelphia in 1792. Depicting a proud spread-wing federal eagle perched atop a bank of clouds, the plaque is hand-finished in gilt gold over a black ground with subtle verdigris-green accents, while the date 1792 is cast prominently at the base.
