Its gadrooned cornice, fluted uprights, and full-height mirrors make it a striking piece of bedroom furniture, both architectural and luminous.

materials: oak and birch. Antique beveled mirrors. Chiseled brass hardware.

features: this antique wardrobe opens with two full-height mirrored doors, framed by fluted uprights and surmounted by a sculpted gadrooned cornice: a neoclassical frieze characteristic of the louis xvi style, elegantly revived by cabinetmakers of the third republic. The curved apron and fluted feet complete the composition with finesse. A discreet drawer with a brass handle at the base of the front provides additional storage. The beveled mirrors, slightly aged by time, add to the authentic charm of the piece. The doors lock. Inside, the wardrobe has four shelves (not height-adjustable).

refurbishment: the wardrobe was completely sanded, then washed before being protected with a clear wax.
