A French Louis Philippe buffet dating from around 1840–1860.
The cabinet is made of walnut and burr walnut veneer and features two drawers above a pair of panelled doors. Inside is a fixed shelf providing practical storage. The top is fitted with a 25 mm thick black marble slab.
The buffet remains in good antique condition with normal age-related wear consistent with its age and use. The marble top shows light signs of use. The doors and drawers operate properly, and the key is included.

Condition
Good antique condition with normal age-related wear, minor marks and surface wear consistent with age and use. Historic woodworm traces are present, as commonly found in furniture of this age. The cabinet has been treated against woodworm as a precaution and shows no signs of active infestation. Structurally sound and ready for use.
