The tall pond has an unusual feature we've never seen in our years of collecting - an insulating chamber to ensure ideal water temperatures for the fish within. This outermost layer would be filled with water by a hole near the rim - warm in the winter, cold in the summer - allowing the fish pond to be placed outdoors year round.

The exterior is simply decorated by a thin glaze in shades of light and dark brown, which drips down the sides with irregular movement and pools in the ridged texture of the base. Today, the fish pond lives on as an incredible garden planter or cachepot, potted with flowers, indoor trees or lush greenery.
