A striking piece of Brazilian modernist design, this magazine rack was designed by Carlo Hauner and Martin Eisler and produced by Forma, Brazil, circa 1950.
In really nice vintage condition overall, with only minor losses to the finish on the metal frame, consistent with age and honest use. The sculptural metal frame cradles a copper sling seat that has developed a beautifully rich, aged patina over the decades.
Holds approximately 10 magazines and presents beautifully as both a functional piece and a standout sculptural object.
Unmarked.
