Rare Feature: Convertible Drop-Front Drawer (Keyboard/Typewriter Drawer/Pencil Drawer)
This desk features a unique, original factory feature: a drop-front center drawer. Held securely by a magnetic latch when closed, the front panel flips down (supported by its original brass limit chain) to create a flat, lower-profile surface. Originally designed in the 1950s to hold a typewriter at a comfortable typing height, today it makes the absolute perfect ergonomic keyboard tray or laptop station.
6 drawers including the drop-front drawer and 1 filing drawer with rails for filing folder dividers
