An exquisite mid-century modern artistic table lamp base crafted in murano, italy, during the 1970s. The piece features a stunning and perfectly proportioned double-sphere body executed in a vibrant amber/orange sommerso glass, resting on a beautifully fluted, flared base that ensures excellent stability.
the glass is meticulously detailed using the traditional venetian "bullicante" technique, which embeds controlled, symmetrical air bubbles inside the glass matrix, combined with an intense infusion of 24-karat gold flecks that beautifully multiply the light reflections when lit.
the bottom of the glass features the authentic fluid, hand-etched "murano glass" script signature, certifying its high-end venetian craftsmanship. The top features a premium satin gold-toned socket casing carefully selected to match the golden inner flakes, hiding the vintage black bakelite core stamped with the original "made in italy" hallmark.

perfect working order. The hand-blown glass body is in excellent vintage condition, completely free of cracks, chips, or stress fractures around the joints and base. The brass and gold-finish elements exhibit a light natural patina consistent with age. For maximum electrical safety, the lamp has been updated with a modern transparent cable, matching switch, and plug. Fully operational and ready to use. Fits a standard e27 bulb (edison-style filament bulb recommended for display; bulb not included).
