Meredew was one of britain's most respected bedroom furniture makers of the era, and this piece is a lovely example of their understated, quality craftsmanship.

two well-proportioned smaller drawers sit above a deeper, wider drawer — ideal for storing bulkier items such as knitwear or bedding. Each drawer is finished with the original circular brass pulls, simple and modernist in style, adding a warm metallic accent against the pale oak.

professionally finished and beeswax polished, the light oak has a lovely soft lustre. In exceptionally good vintage condition — clearly a well-loved and carefully kept piece throughout its life. A versatile addition to a bedroom, landing, or living space.
