A pair of electrified chandeliers of rare elegance, testaments to the refined Art Deco style of the 1930s.
Each piece features three chromed metal arms with S-shaped curves, supporting solid cut crystal elements with geometric facets: a thick square base, a superimposed central stem, and finely cut candle holders. The faux candles in tubular white opaline glass provide the soft, warm light so characteristic of the period. (One is broken.)
A precious detail of authenticity: the original beige and gold braided textile wiring, with its porcelain pull-chain switch, tells a beautiful story in itself. The patina of the chromed metal and the slight traces of oxidation, consistent with the age of the objects, attest to their age and authenticity.
Please note: rewiring is essential before use.
Height 23 cm – sold as a pair (total weight 5 kg). These two candlesticks will add a touch of luminous history to an entryway console, mantelpiece, or Art Deco nightstand.
