Jiří Jiroutek (1912/13–?) was one of the leading Czech furniture designers of the post-war period. As head of design at Interiér Praha, he developed the influential U-450 series, now regarded as one of the defining achievements of Czech Mid-Century design. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
