This sculptural table lamp is built around a geometric composition of simple forms. The interplay between circles, triangles, squares and diagonals gives the piece a strong architectural presence. It shows a remarkable sense of balance and a distinctly individual character. This one-off piece is fabricated from brushed steel with folded edges, visible welds and precision-formed components. Rather than concealing its construction it celebrates the honesty of the material and the process by which it was made. The brushed finish catches and diffuses light softly, allowing subtle variations in tone to animate the otherwise restrained surface.
