The special nature of this design lies in the material: while holmegaard is celebrated worldwide for masterful art and studio glassware, werner opted for a robust, softly rounded aluminum alloy. Production took place in collaboration with the danish metal manufacturer bj metal, making the lamp a true collector's item outside of the classic glass collections. The shade's surface is lacquered in a deep anthracite with an elegant metallic shimmer. The interior of the lamp is matte white, ensuring optimal light reflection. The clever design feature is hidden at the top: some of the light escapes through an opening at the top, indirectly illuminating the curved lampshade from the outside. This impressively showcases the striking silhouette of the design when the lamp is switched on. This particular lamp is size 0, boasting a substantial diameter of 45 cm. This size is ideal for the living room or above the dining table. As an authentic vintage piece, the lamp features genuine signs of wear and fine scratches in its anthracite finish.
