Murano glass pocket emptier, attributed to Venini or Salviati. It features a refined white spiral decoration and gold thread. Murano glass with filigree or spiral workmanship. This ornamental style is historically achieved by applying a thin thread of colored or metallic glass while hot to the transparent surface. Many Murano glass masters, including historic furnaces such as Venini and Salviati, have produced plates and bowls with spiral or filigree decorations. Made in Italy in the 1960s and 1970s.
