a very good looking well made and decorative piece, this is pretty much the finest example of this type of furniture i have ever seen, the cuts of timber and colour are sublime, if it didn't have the tillman stamp i would think it was a gillows of lancaster & london regency example, its that good, the castors for example, i have never seen this shape sized colour and quality of castor before on anything other than a period piece the table is extending as you can see, this is the largest version of this type of table i've come across, it can seat four people when extended well, the top slides out to reveal a large chessboard to the reverse, the underside has a hand stitched leather backgammon board

condition wise this has been professionally restored and it is immaculate, i would say 100% gallery ready.

dimensions height: 76cm width: 92cm extending to 152.5cm depth: 58.5cm seat height: cm this piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
