An antique French plant stand dating from around 1900. Crafted from solid walnut, this elegant guéridon features a circular top, a fluted central column and three shaped legs inspired by the Louis XVI style.
Originally intended as a plant stand or decorative pedestal, it is equally suitable for displaying a sculpture, vase or lamp. Its compact proportions make it well suited for use in a living room, hallway or bedroom.
The walnut has developed a warm patina over time. The stand shows age-related wear, minor scratches, marks and small imperfections consistent with its age and use. It remains sturdy and stable.
