Rare Mid-Century to Postmodern Italian Luxury Desk Tabletop Object.
Features a Heavily Stylized, Solid .925 Sterling Silver Organic Base of Leaves and Stem, Supporting a Masterfully Carved, Natural Rainbow Fluorite Into a Blooming Flower Bowl.
Top of Large Bottom Leaf is Marked with .925 De Vecci, and the Official Italian Guild Registry Hallmark 665 MI.
Gabriele De Vecchi took over his father’s historic Futurist-inspired workshop in 1962, pushing the boundaries of Italian silverware by merging precious metals with unexpected natural materials. De Vecchi's studio was so highly regarded for its craftsmanship that it frequently manufactured exclusive luxury objects for premier global houses like Tiffany & Co.
