This antique twin bed features a scrolled headboard and low-post design. The head and footboards feature a cutout known as "Rams Ear" which was typical of 18th and 19th American craftsmanship.
The bed is either mahogany or walnut and dates from the mid to late 1800s. It has been re-fitted to accommodate a twin mattress and box spring so the side rails are not original.
