A true unicorn for the blue & white collector: After extensive market research, no comparable example of this monumental form has been located online.
This is a museum-scale 13" Victoria Ware Ironstone in the coveted Historical Blue scenic transferware pattern. The bucket form with integrated ceramic basket handles is undocumented in current sales records — most Victoria Ware pieces are 6–9" tureens or platters.
CONDITION: Museum-quality. Absolutely mint with no chips, cracks, hairlines, or repairs. The cobalt glaze is bright and unfaded. Interior shows original celadon glaze with no staining. Foot rim shows light age-appropriate wear. See all photos including tape measure for scale.
MEASUREMENTS: 13" H x 9.5" D x 9" W handle-to-handle. At 9 lbs, this is substantial, authentic English ironstone from the 1960s–1970s.
STYLING: The perfect “one piece” for a primary bath, bar, or entry. Style as an ice/wine bucket, oversized planter for a fiddle leaf fig, umbrella stand, or magazine holder. The scale and weight give it serious presence.
MARK: Authentic Victoria Ware Ironstone Royal Arms crest backstamp in cobalt blue underglaze. Guaranteed English Staffordshire-region manufacture.
This is not a modern reproduction — it’s heavy, authentic English ironstone that will anchor a room for generations. Professionally packed + insured. Local pickup Waco, TX 76708 welcome.
