Beautiful solid quartered oak with mahogany inlays. Hand cut dovetails throughout the carcass and drawers. A real historical piece of hand craftsmanship. Drawer pulls replaced with hepplewhite style pulls in likely the late 1800s. The base was likely added when brought to America as generally these pieces would of been part of a larger drawer set. Drawer bottoms are hewn pine (bottom drawer was repaired at some time and has a newer bottom). See less
