The sculpture "Madonna dell'amore" was designed by the Lenci company, of Turin, to be created and sold in different pictorial variants: the work in question, created around 1938 and identified with the number 775/2, is distinguished by a decoration in oblique bands with geometric motifs, arabesques and natural elements. Unlike other artifacts, the glossy showcase was not used for this work, this means that the work is presented in a velvety and opaque form, taking on a greater sweetness, refinement and intimacy that characterizes the theme of the subject.
