A tender, intimate study of two clasped hands, painted in a soft monochrome grisaille palette. The artist builds the form through delicate, translucent washes, with fine detail at the knuckles, nails, and creases.
The sheet’s deckled edges are left visible, floated over a double mat and framed behind Tru Vue conservation glass with TruGuard UV protection (framer’s label on the back), in a brushed pewter and champagne-toned frame. Arrives ready to hang. Signed “D. Gibson” in pencil, lower right.
Lovely in a bedroom, a reading corner, or anywhere you want something calm and personal.

A small speck of debris is visible under the glass; this does not affect the artwork itself and could be easily addressed by removing the glass if desired. Housed under museum-quality glass (UV-protective, non-glare) in the original frame. less
