The two board solid mahogany top is well-grained and in overall very good condition, retaining an old, but not original, surface. The top has acquired a rich natural patina; there are couple ring marks and stains which do not detract from the overall beauty of the table. The unusual ring-turned pedestal is supported by three elegant saber legs terminating in beautifully articulated carved paw feet. The table retains its original casters.
