Crafted from solid wood … Read more An elegant pair of three-legged stool-style chairs attributable to 19th-century Italian craftsmanship, in the Neo-Renaissance style. Crafted from solid wood that has been finely hand-carved and features an original dark patina, they have backs and seats adorned with geometric rosettes and bas-relief portraits depicting classical profiles (male and female). The structure is heavy and exceptionally solid, preserved in excellent period condition in its original state of discovery with a splendid historical patina.
