A pair of exceptional table lamps from the carrara arte colore series by the renowned german glassworks peill & putzler, manufactured in the 1970s.
the series is distinguished by its characteristic, mouth-blown opal glass, which imitates the refined aesthetic of white carrara marble.
the lamps feature two-phase lighting, with separately switchable light sources for the shade (2 x max 60w) and base (1 x max 40w), allowing the glass body itself to glow.
when switched off, the colored opal glass creates this elegant stone-like appearance. When switched on, the lamp emits a warm, diffused, and cloud-like light.
