Designed in 1975, this model exemplifies the understated elegance and uncompromising craftsmanship with which niels otto møller significantly shaped international danish modern design. the finely proportioned frames, crafted from warm-toned teak, captivate with their slender, almost architectural lines. The original paper cord weave is also in excellent condition and shows virtually no signs of wear. All chairs are sturdy and of high-quality craftsmanship. The original manufacturer's mark, "j.l. Møller models – made in denmark," is present and documents their authentic provenance.

niels otto møller was a trained cabinetmaker and founded his own manufactory in aarhus in 1944. Unlike many of his contemporaries, he directly linked design and production. This consistent combination of design, material knowledge, and traditional carpentry became the hallmark of j.l. Møllers møbelfabrik. The company, still family-run today, manufactures in aarhus and describes møller's design approach as a fusion of iconic design and meticulous craftsmanship.
