Pair of italian wall sconces dating from the 1950s, designed with a simple and well-balanced composition typical of mid-century italian lighting. Each fixture features a round brass wall plate supporting a curved brass arm, which extends forward to hold a spherical opaline glass diffuser. A shallow brass cap placed above the glass globe completes the design, adding a refined decorative detail while maintaining a clean and functional silhouette. The opaline glass shades provide a soft and even light diffusion, while the aged brass structure gives the pair a warm vintage character. The brass surfaces show natural patina, oxidation and tonal variations consistent with age, with minor signs of wear throughout. The opaline glass globes are in good vintage condition, with light signs of use. Overall in good vintage condition. Vintage original fixtures. Wired, functional, and in working condition. Suitable for use in europe and the us with appropriate bulbs, but not certified to current ul or other contemporary national standards. Professional installation recommended.
