Although the individual designer is not specified, the model is widely attributed to the louis poulsen design team and embodies the company's celebrated philosophy of functional, glare-free illumination.

each pendant features a beautifully proportioned bell-shaped opaline glass shade suspended beneath a polished chrome-plated canopy. The layered construction produces a soft, evenly diffused light while concealing the light source, creating the warm and comfortable illumination for which louis poulsen became internationally renowned.

the combination of luminous opaline glass, polished chrome and original brown bakelite bulb holders reflects the refined material palette characteristic of danish modern lighting during the 1960s.
