A rare Paul McCobb for Irwin Collection by Calvin Furniture of Grand Rapids MI with his premium signature fossilized grey marble. Not mint - it was owned by the same people since the 1960's and is showing a lot of patina. Blemishes are pictured and described below.
I believe the piece is bleached mahogany with an oxidized brass frame. The clean lines of the design are as charming now as when created.
The two hung drawers are in good condition and function correctly. One drawer has "Irwin" maker's nameplate.

The frame, likely brass, has oxidized. It is structurally sturdy There are a few dings at the edge of the stone, as pictured: 2 in the front near the drawer, and 1 in back. Note the stone is a separate piece that must be placed correctly on the base (it may wobble if not). There are a few other scratches on the wood, which overall shows the patina of use. Marble of this type s porous; there are some cloudy (non-shiny) patches on the stone (see pic of the stone top taken at an angle). less
