Titled "Renoir Revisited II," this piece is the direct sister composition to Simon's "Renoir Revisited I." In this variant, the artist presents a masterfully complex deconstruction of Pierre-Auguste Renoir's 1883 Impressionist masterpiece, "Dance at Bougival." Rather than using a standard square grid, Simon utilizes a brilliant, highly intricate argyle or diamond-shaped lattice matrix. The segments of the classic print are cut into precise diamond panes and separated by a subtle, dusty mauve or lavender-gray background field, creating a striking kaleidoscopic or tessellated visual movement.

The piece is hand-signed and dated "HBSimon 2007" on the lower right border matting, with the handwritten title "Renoir Revisited II" on the left and the rare edition marking "1/5" in the center.
