The work, Te Po (The God of Darkeness) is seriagraph from 1950. The artist Paul Gauguin, produced this work in French Polynesia.
I found the image really moving, and it reminded me of going to Western Somoa as a child.
The Dimensions of the print is 15 3/4in. by 11 1/2in.
I had this woodblock matted and framed. I think the white matting with the gold frame works wonderfully with the darkness of the Woodcut Seriagraph
