1960's Lewis handbag with a mod 'swinging sixties' black cut velvet pattern accented with squares of pink, burnt orange, gray, ruby red and sea foam green. The teardrop shaped top handle is framed in gold tone metal. There are two open side pockets and a middle interior with push button closure. It is lined in leather and satin fabric and features two open compartments with a zippered compartment. The original mirror in paper sleeve is tucked away in the zippered compartment. Gold stamped 'LEWIS' at the interior.
Good vintage condition. The velvet exterior is in excellent condition and the interior compartments are very clean. The gold tone metal around the handle has some light scratching and a little patina though nothing truly objectionable.
Measures 12" tall x 12" wide x 3" deep. The handle provides for a 6" drop.
