This table was part of the original furnishings of the Bethlehem Church (Bethlehem Kerk) built in 1979 in Breda, Netherlands. … Read more This table was part of the original furnishings of the Bethlehem Church (Bethlehem Kerk) built in 1979 in Breda, Netherlands. It was designed by two Bossche School architects: Hans van der Laan, (the nephew of Dom Hans van der Laan) together with the Dutch architect Harry van Hal.
Made from solid and heavy merbau wood with a high degree of craftsmanship. The surface has been refinished to match its original Bossche School colour (the previous owners had the original paint removed - but there were still traces of colour to the underside) I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
designer records,
