The classic dutch compass leg chair was perhaps originally created by prouve who then inspired a number of beautiful chair designs in the late 1950’s. Friso kramer and wim rietveld designed the result chair in the 1950’s alongside the s16 and s30 chair designed and produced by galvanitas, a key dutch manufacturer originally founded in 1934. The legs are made from heavy weight steel tube, with a fine thur op laminated and formed seat and back. The chairs are a good comfortable scale and are a design classic. We service each chair individually before they leave our workshop and we deliver chairs of excellent quality. Seat height 46cm
