A fine Mid Century Modern 54" coffee table designed by John Lubberts & Lambert Mulder for Tomlinson & signed "Tomlinson Sophisticate" 1959.
A rare 54" circular coffee table from Tomlinson's "Sophisticate" line, the impressive 54" diameter six-leg coffee table made of book-matched butternut and pecan woods. The table having a dished top edge with sunburst pattern figured butternut & pecan wood, with specialized butterfly joinery (bow-tie inlays) along the outer ring .
This table came in two sizes 40" and 54", the table listed is the larger 54" model, this iconic American MCM coffee table is in excellent vintage condition and is ready to grace your space.
