C.1930 cardboard cut-out with art deco lithographed image of a flapper style woman in a bathing cap. The cut-out has a built in easel and would have been used as a store display to advertise bathing caps. The stylized image is in shades of light tan and cantaloupe orange with expert shading that gives the flat surface a 3-d effect. It is wonderful as a tabletop piece though I think it would be fun to frame it as wall art. From the Atlanta estate of an art deco collector.

The lithographed cut out is in good to fair condition with signs of age and wear. The colors remain vibrant though there are water spots (somehow seems appropriate) and some wear to the cardboard edges. The built-in easel is operational and fully functional though there is a tear to one of the 'wings' that offers support, please see photograph 13. Framing the image would help maintain the integrity of the artwork.

The cut out measures 13.75" tall x 10.75" wide x 5" deep when standing on the built in easel. See less
