An Art Deco–style animal bronze of a rooster mid-crow, head thrown back, beak open, one leg lifted as if stepping forward into its morning call. The artist contrasts finely textured, feather-by-feather detailing across the body and sweeping tail with bright polished gold on the comb, wattle, and beak — a vivid play of dark patina and gleaming highlight that brings the bird to life. Characterful and full of swagger, the piece captures the rooster at its proudest moment.
Cast in bronze using the lost-wax method and mounted on an integrated circular bronze base. Signed by the artist and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity. Made to order — a hand-cast, limited piece rather than a stock object.
