His style and taste influenced the production of carpets produced in the city of Sparta between 1950 and 1970, but only a few are actually designs made by Muren, who often gave a name to his creations and in the weaving, he entered his signature as in the carpet we present. The decidedly eccentric and risky colours in the combinations and the abstract design are an expression of the playful world of Muren, who had a huge amount of admirers who followed him in his singing performances. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
