Thought to be crafted in walnut, the piece embodies clean lines, balanced proportions, and understated elegance.

This vanity carries exceptional provenance, having come from the private residence and estate of renowned ceramic artists Otto and Gertrude Natzler, among the most influential studio potters of the 20th century. Their groundbreaking ceramics are held in the permanent collections of major institutions including The Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Smithsonian American Art Museum, The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA).

The table features four dovetailed drawers. The keyholes and locks remain in place, though the original key is no longer present. Drawers are unlocked, wood knobs are attached to the two side drawers. The warm walnut grain and graceful profile allow the piece to function equally well as a traditional vanity, dressing table, writing desk, or entry console. The timeless design can blend easily into any decor style.

Very good vintage condition consistent with careful use. The surface displays scattered dings, scratches, and areas of wear acquired over decades of ownership, along with a few discreet, professional repairs to dings and marks.
